It's time to Exosuit up and get ready to face off against an army of dinosaurs that are teleporting from the sky. Exoprimal's Closed Network Test is coming soon, allowing you to get your hands on the game and try out its 5v5 team-based battles for yourself.
The Closed Network Test will run during July, with s opening soon. The lucky ones who manage to get themselves access to the game will have the chance to try it out before anyone else, allowing them to unleash fury on relentless hordes of dinosaurs before the game's full release in 2023.
You'll be able to play as any of the game's three classes – Assault, Tank, and – and up with a team of four other players in the Dino Survival mode. This mode has your squad battling against dinos to complete objectives set by an AI called Leviathan, who's tasked with assisting you on your mission. But be warned – there's another team also racing to complete objectives, and if they finish up before your team, then you lose.
The Closed Network Test offers a sampler of Exosuits for you to try out, depending on your chosen class. For the Assault class, you can equip the mid-to-long range stylings of the Deadeye, or get stuck into the enemy with the close-combat focused Zephyr. Tanks can try out the Roadblock, which comes equipped with a massive shield to defend teammates with. Finally, s can use the Witchdoctor, which will be invaluable in keeping your squad topped up on health.
You'll also have three rigs to try out, which can help you out in a pinch. You can drop a first aid kit to heal your squad, use a cannon to deal massive damage with a powerful laser attack, or use the catapult to beef up your jumps and leap into the battle. You'll have the chance to try all this kit out in the training mode, along with a quick tutorial when you first enter the Closed Network Test.
Exoprimal's Closed Network Test starts in July, with a handful of missions to try out and dinosaur types to fight, along with a variety of Exosuits and rigs to deploy. Keep an eye on the Exoprimal Twitter for more information on when s will be available.
