In light of the ongoing protests against police brutality and racial inequality in the US and around the world, numerous game publishers have offered statements in solidarity with the movement. Humble is going a step further, and has announced a $1 million fund aimed at helping publish games from Black developers.
"We stand in solidarity to condemn racism and violence against the Black community. Humble believes in empowering and uniting communities through gaming and will leverage our platform to help achieve racial equity everywhere. Today we are announcing a $1 million fund dedicated to helping publish games by Black developers. We will have more updates about the fund and other ways we are actively ing organisations soon."
In addition to its store and charity-benefiting bundles, Humble has served as an indie publisher for many years, helping titles like Temtem, Them's Fightin' Herds, Void Bastards, and Forager come to market. This year, the publishing division rebranded as Humble Games.

Humble is also calling on its charity-focused community to continue ing "worthwhile causes in times of need" – the company points prospective donors toward the NAA Legal Defense Fund and Race Forward.
