With scarce supply since launch, it's been hard to buy an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 even at its already-expensive MSRP, but stock is now settling down in Europe, enabling you to get hold of the fastest GPU in the world for an even lower price than you would expect. In fact, if you live in the UK, you can currently pick one up for less than the launch price.
Although this monster Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 review, it put every other GPU to shame, thanks to its huge 32GB frame buffer and massive GPU packed with 21,760 CUDA cores.
When it originally launched in the UK, the RTX 5090 had a price of £1,939, but that's now dropped to £1,889. However, at Overclockers right now, you can pick one up for even less, with this Palit RTX 5090 GameRock card going for £1,879.99. That's still a huge amount of money for a graphics card, of course, but it's a big improvement on the scalper prices we've been seeing recently.
A similar price drop has also happened to the RTX 5080, which you can now pick up at the same retailer for under £1,000, with this Zotac Solid RTX 5080 card going for £999.95, as well as this Gainward Phoenix card. As with the RTX 5090, that's still a high price, of course, but AMD has no competitor in this sector, meaning the RTX 5080 is still the fastest GPU you can buy for this price right now.
Meanwhile, over in the US, RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 cards are still going for obscene prices, but you can at least pick up an RTX 5060 or 5060 Ti there for a reasonable price now. Hopefully, the prices of high-end GPUs will also start to drop in the US sometime soon as well – the stock situation certainly seems to be improving in other parts of the world.
