Pink appears to be quickly turning into the new black, with this new Thermaltake pink RAM being the latest component to don the popular cherry blossom costume, and no, it's not an April fool. The new Thermaltake Bubble Pink ToughRAM XG RGB D5 memory has a big dose of pink coloring on the right half of each module, which looks ideal for a Sakura gaming PC.
If you're drawing on a cherry blossom theme for your next build, and you want the whole lot to be color-matched, then best gaming RAM for your setup ready for you. The new memory comes in a standard configuration, with a 32GB (2 x 16GB) dual-channel DDR5 kit running at 6,000MT/s with CL36 latency timings.
There's nothing extraordinary about those specs, but 6,000MT/s is considered the sweet spot by AMD for its latest gaming Us, such as the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and while you can get much faster memory, that speed is plenty for most gamers' needs. Meanwhile, the RGB lighting system contains 16 LEDs.
Thermaltake announced the new memory on its Instagram feed, where the company was keen to lean into the Sakura trend, saying that the new RAM is "as vibrant and fleeting as cherry blossoms in full bloom." The new Bubble Pink memory s a host of other cherry blossom components that have appeared recently, with Sakura graphics card based on the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU, for example. There's also already a range of matching Thermaltake Bubble Pink cases, including the Tower 300 and Tower 600.
Of course, you can also mix and match both white and pink components if you're going for a Sakura theme, and plenty of the best U coolers also come in white flavors.
