XDefiant system requirements

Ubisoft's competitive FPS has been a long time coming, but is now officially available to play, so what hardware does your gaming PC need?

What are the XDefiant system requirements? Ubisoft's competitive shooter is finally here, and you're not going to need an expensive new gaming PC to start playing.

Ubisoft has provided four detailed tiers of system requirements for best graphics card that money can buy, you'll still need some powerful hardware to achieve 4K gameplay.

Here are the XDefiant system requirements:

Minimum (1080p) Recommended (1080p)
OS Windows 10 or later Windows 10 or later
GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (4GB)

The XDefiant minimum requirements understandably paint a picture of a game that has been in development for some time. While many other competitive shooters also aim low on the specs front, Ubisoft's entry only requires an Nvidia GTX GPU alongside a quad-core U and 8GB of RAM.

As for the XDefiant recommended specs, the bar is raised for the suggested graphics cards, but still without entering the RTX era. a quad-core U is also still sufficient for what is expected to be the 1080p, 60fps gameplay tier. The RAM requirement is upped here to 16GB, which remains the case for all subsequent tiers.

Enthusiast (1440p) Ultra (4K)

Storage 35GB SSD 35GB SSD

If you want to target the XDefiant ultra specs, you still won't need an elite graphics card by today's standards, with either the gaming U to back up your pixel pusher.

The XDefiant size currently sits at 35GB, and while an SSD isn't required, it's highly recommended by the developers for the best experience. Having one of the best SSDs for gaming will bring down load times getting you into the action faster.
